A graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute (Cambridge MA) with over 25 years of professional practice and continuing study, as well as Board Certification by the U.S. National Certifying Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) since 2000, Kitzie particularly enjoys transforming her clients’ wishes for their ideal spa experience into an individualized session that comes as close as possible to making it a reality. A former academic with a PhD in French and Comparative Literature and 30 years of university-level experience teaching modern foreign languages and literatures (French and Spanish), she also loves encouraging clients to discover positive ways to live their lives in health and happiness.

“My husband and I did some research before coming to Boquete and saw that Kitzie of Spa Boquete was mentioned over and over as a highly rated massage therapist in the area. I emailed her from the U.S. and set up the appointment in advance. She was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. My husband and I each got a deep tissue massage. She is very thorough and works each part of your body, but will certainly tailor the massage to your particular likes and needs. She was excellent with feet and hands. She is trained in reflexology and also offers facials. She uses really nice oil that is good for your skin. Kitzie is a PhD and highly trained in her field. It would cost a fortune in the U.S. to have someone like her work on you. "
